Qualifications- Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a teaching role.
- Engage in discussions regarding student progress with parents and educational stakeholders.
- Assess and document the academic growth of students.
- Attend and contribute to educational workshops and conferences.
- Participate actively in staff meetings.
- Provide additional support through tutoring as needed.
- Oversee and mentor teaching assistants and student teachers.
- Assign, evaluate, and provide feedback on homework.
- Design and develop course materials.
- Recognize and address individual learning requirements of students.
- Facilitate activities that enhance students' physical, mental, and social development.
- Prepare and implement tailored programs for students needing extra assistance.
- Administer and grade assessments.
- Deliver lessons through various instructional methods including discussions and field trips.
Must possess a valid Provincial or Territorial Teaching Certificate.
