FULL-TIME AVIATION CANINE HANDLER

A.S.P. Incorporated is proud to be the largest private provider of Canine Explosive Detection (EDD) Services in Canada. We deliver a comprehensive solution tailored to local requirements, effectively addressing the detection of explosives and explosive trace elements. Our team is responsible for conducting Canine Explosives Detection searches and sweeps in various environments including office buildings, arenas, stadiums, conference centers, airport facilities, vehicles, and aircraft, among other locations as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the 24-hour housing, care, and overall well-being of assigned dogs;
  • Perform security duties in diverse indoor and outdoor settings under varying conditions;
  • Adapt to work requirements in both indoor and outdoor environments;
  • Exhibit flexibility and readiness to respond to unpredictable and often last-minute canine service requests;
  • Engage in daily training focused on explosives detection and maintain compliance with Federal Regulations.

Candidate Profile:

  • Must be eligible to work in Canada;
  • Possess proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office;
  • Demonstrate self-motivation with a keen attention to detail;
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills along with active listening abilities;
  • Hold a valid Security license, Ontario Driver's License (G or higher) with a clean driving record, and Basic First Aid and CPR certification;
  • Willingness to provide a Criminal Record check upon request;
  • Previous security experience is considered an asset.
