Job Title: Deskside Support

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deskside Support professional to join our team at PeopleToGo. As a Deskside Support specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients, ensuring their IT systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform intermediate IMAC activities, including hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment-related tasks on PCs, laptops, printers, and other devices.
  • Handle software installation, support, and upgrades to ensure seamless system performance.
  • Provide deskside support services, installing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Offer 1st level Help Desk support to clients, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Perform basic LAN and internetworking activities to ensure network stability and security.
  • Handle bench repairs and remedial maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize system uptime.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to diagnose problems, establish ETA, and parts requirements.

Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years of field service experience in hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and deployment-related activities.
  • 1-2 years of deskside support experience, with a strong understanding of hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Strong internetworking and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on resolving complex technical issues.
  • A+ certification, with additional vendor certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, and OEMs (Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, HP) a plus.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with excellent time management skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients at all levels.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Must be available to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Minimum of a Diploma from a recognized IT program, with a strong understanding of IT principles and concepts.
