Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Marina Bay Academy Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in a childcare setting. This includes planning and implementing engaging activities, maintaining a safe and healthy environment, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement activities that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, including housekeeping and cooking duties
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs and keeping records
  • Engage children in activities, such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
Requirements:
  • Child development assistant (ECE level 1) certification
  • Criminal record check, medical exam, immunization records, and tuberculosis test
  • Own transportation
  • Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Punctuality, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, reliability, team player, values and ethics
