Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Team Member to join our team at Marble Slab Creamery & Poko Popcorn Prince George. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and cakes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough and batters according to recipes or special customer orders, and bake mixed dough and batters to perfection.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and ensure that they meet our high standards.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 hours per week.
