Job Title: DevOps Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Developer to join our team at CB Canada. As a DevOps Developer, you will play a key role in creating and managing our DevOps pipeline, collaborating with engineering teams to improve CI/CD practices, and supporting the maintenance of our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline our software development process
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to modernize and automate release management, deployment processes, and strategies
  • Support and maintain our infrastructure, including on-prem and cloud deployments
  • Identify KPIs and implement scaling and resilience strategies to meet SLA expectations
  • Build a fully automated pipeline to build, test, and deploy software without manual intervention
Requirements:
  • Good knowledge of CI/CD automated tools like Jenkins, Team City, Jfrog Artifactory, UrbanCode Deploy, Ansible
  • Experience with issue tracking systems like JIRA
  • Good working knowledge of source control technologies (Git, Bitbucket)
  • Experience with containers and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
  • Experience setting up high availability/fault-tolerant systems
  • 2+ years of experience with metrics and tracing
  • Strong experience with log analysis using ELK/OpenSearch and Dynatrace
  • Good communication and collaboration skills in English
  • Open-minded and willing to learn new tools/methodologies/concepts
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Sense of ownership
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of infrastructure and code tools like Ansible/Terraform
  • Experience with OpenShift
  • Experience with configuration management software
  • Experience in Continuous Deployment (concourse/GitHub Actions/Spinnaker/etc.)
  • Experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation)
  • Strong Linux admin skills
  • Experience with Apache Airflow, Dask, MLFlow
  • Experience with RHEL
