Freeride Coach Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freeride Coach to join our team at Resorts of the Canadian Rockies. As a key member of our coaching staff, you will be responsible for providing a performance-based coaching environment for freeride athletes, ensuring their safety, and delivering an exceptional mountain experience.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Develop and implement coaching plans to enhance athlete performance and safety
  • Contribute to a professional and supportive team environment
  • Maintain accurate records of coaching activities and athlete progress
  • Participate in daily team meetings, training sessions, and communications to ensure a high-quality instructional experience
  • Advocate for health and safety, prioritizing the well-being of clients, guests, and colleagues
Requirements:
  • CSIA Lv 2 certification and membership in good standing
  • Previous freestyle and/or freeride competition experience
  • First Aid certificate and IFSA L100 Coaching Course
  • Experience coaching young children
  • Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
  • Canadian Freestyle Skiing certification (Freestylerz level) an asset
  • Criminal background check
