Job Title: Senior Financial Modelling Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Modelling Expert to join our team at Operis Group plc. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in financial modelling and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain complex financial models, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  2. Lead the day-to-day modelling of model development assignments, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders.
  3. Support the financial advisory team in their transaction work, including model development, funding competitions, and client liaison.
  4. Project manage smaller projects, providing guidance and coaching to junior staff.
  5. Build and maintain customer relationships, with opportunities to join our modelling sales team and create pitches to win new business.
Requirements:
  1. 2-4 years' experience building and working with cashflow models.
  2. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas and concepts verbally and in writing.
  3. Confident client-facing skills, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  4. Internal teamwork is essential, with a willingness to work collaboratively and flexibly.
  5. Self-motivated and confident in working independently, with a strong attention to detail.
  6. Experience in project finance and infrastructure modelling, with a familiarity with programming languages (particularly VBA or C#).
  7. Business-level non-English languages (particularly French or Spanish).
