About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team at Mountforest Agroproducts Ltd. as a Mushroom Farm Worker.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crop Maintenance: Clean the crops, clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas, and cut agricultural crops.
  • Harvesting and Handling: Hand harvesting vegetables, loading, unloading and transferring crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry.
  • Cultivation and Irrigation: Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops, and mix fertilizer.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Clean work area and ensure a safe and healthy environment.
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling. The type of crops grown is mushrooms.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn is essential.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.

  • Judgement: Ability to make sound decisions and take responsibility.
  • Reliability: Consistency and dependability in work performance.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with others.
