Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food items according to preplanned menus, including special diet items.
- Assistance and Relief: Assist or relieve cooks when directed, ensuring seamless service to our clients.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Direct and participate in the cleaning of the kitchen area and equipment, maintaining a high level of hygiene and safety standards.
- Quality Control: Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh and of high quality, adhering to our strict quality control standards.
- Recipe Execution: Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients, to produce high-quality dishes.
- Physical Demands: Able to withstand long hours of standing, bending, and moving around, with some physical strength required for lifting and carrying food, cooking supplies, and equipment.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with colleagues and clients.
- Culinary Expertise: Expert knowledge of various cooking methods and procedures, with a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices.
- Work Experience: One (1) year of work experience in the preparation and serving of food in a food service establishment, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality service.
- Availability: Willingness to work weekends and evenings, with flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and demands.
Our kitchen operates on a Sunday-Monday schedule, with a starting time of 8:00am. We offer a competitive wage of $17.55 per hour, with opportunities for career growth and development within our team.
