Course Title: MHI2008H - Project Management for Health Informatics

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Sessional Lecturer to teach a professional graduate course in Project Management for Health Informatics at the University of Toronto.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Course instruction using competency-based learning and assessment methods;
  • Course delivery and assessment of student outcomes;
  • Being accessible to students outside of class hours.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A PhD or Masters level education in health informatics or a related field;
  • PMP certification;
  • A robust understanding of project management in health informatics and/or health management;
  • Experience in information management in a healthcare setting;
  • Experience teaching graduate-level courses, preferably in health informatics;
  • Demonstrated ability to relate to mature students and facilitate group learning processes;
  • Comfortable with electronic teaching tools such as Learning Management Systems and online collaboration tools.

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule.
