Key Responsibilities- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide timely and effective troubleshooting and support for complex computer system problems, ensuring minimal disruption to our users.
- Network Planning and Implementation: Collaborate with our team to plan and implement network upgrades and changes, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.
- Documentation and Communication: Create and maintain accurate and detailed technical documentation, as well as communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our team to identify and address network-related issues, and contribute to the development of best practices and procedures.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in a high-volume, client-centric, heterogeneous network environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong experience with network protocols, including STP, IPv4, IPv6, ISIS, OSPF, BGP, and others. Familiarity with layer 2 and 3 network protocols, as well as experience with network equipment and command-line interfaces.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Industry Recognized Certifications: Possession of industry-recognized network certifications, such as CCNA or CCNP.
- ITIL Certification: ITIL certification or equivalent experience.
- Experience with ServiceNow: Experience working with the ServiceNow platform.
