The Arts Workday Student Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the successful implementation of Workday Student in the Faculty of Arts. This position works closely with the Project Manager and Business Analysts to coordinate multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely completion and effective stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration and coordination of complex projects, including project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Collaborate with project teams to establish work breakdown structures, track progress, and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide project information and support to stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and students, ensuring they understand project timelines, processes, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, records management, and databases to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Coordinate training and development activities, including scheduling, registration, and maintaining training requirements databases.
- Perform complex financial duties, including budget monitoring, requisition preparation, and liaison with financial support staff.
Requirements
- High school graduation and two-year post-secondary diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Four years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Intermediate understanding and experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with project management software, such as Asana, JIRA, or Smartsheet, is an asset.
Working Environment
The Project Coordinator works independently under the general direction of the Project Manager, with minimal supervision. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
Reporting Structure
The Project Coordinator reports directly to the Project Manager, Faculty of Arts Workday Student Implementation, with functional supervision from the Communications Manager.
