About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Behr Canada. As a Sales Associate - Professional Paints, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to professional painting contractors and their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and Form Relationships with Local Pros: You will meet and form relationships with local professional painting contractors who rely on Behr for excellent products and exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with Pro Desk Staff: You will work closely with the Pro Desk staff to meet and greet local pros, understand their needs, and provide them with the right products and services.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: You will provide exceptional customer service to professional painting contractors, ensuring they have a positive experience and are satisfied with our products and services.
  • Build Relationships with Pros: You will build relationships with pros in the store who may be there for paint but are more likely there for something else.
  • Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps: You will work closely with Behr's outside sales reps to take care of our customers when they come into the store, including pulling and tinting orders for pick up.
Requirements
  • Approachable and Organized: You must be approachable, organized, and genuinely interested in helping our customers.
  • Basic Computer Skills: You will need basic computer skills to use our customer management software.
  • Outgoing Personality: You will need an outgoing personality with a positive attitude to start up conversations with strangers and be a self-starter to jump in and help wherever you see a need.
  • Bilingual: While not required, being bilingual is a bonus as many of our professional contractors do speak multiple languages.
