Job SummaryWe are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team as a Visiting Nurse in the Parry Sound area. As a Visiting Nurse, you will provide exceptional nursing services to patients in their homes, working independently or in cooperation with the Home and Community Care Support Services (HCCSS).
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain effective Care Plans with respect to Community Health Services
- Provide nursing services to patients in their homes, including one-on-one care and virtual consultations
- Communicate and liaise with patients, family members, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
- Perform other clinical duties as required
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) degree or diploma
- Current College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registration in good standing
- Strong desire and commitment to making a difference in the lives of our patients
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and vehicle
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- CPR Certification
- Current immunization record, including 2-step TB test
- Vulnerable sector check and clear background check
