Job Overview

The role of a Building Maintenance Worker is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of facilities. This position involves a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining the functionality and safety of the premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Waste Management: Regularly empty trash receptacles and other waste containers to maintain cleanliness.
  • System Adjustments: Make minor repairs and adjustments to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems. For major repairs, coordinate with specialized tradespersons.
  • Appliance Maintenance: Conduct minor repairs on various appliances to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Safety Checks: Perform routine safety and security inspections to uphold a safe environment.
  • General Maintenance: Carry out other maintenance tasks, including painting and drywall repairs, to keep the facility in optimal condition.
  • Independent Work: Execute tasks with minimal supervision, demonstrating reliability and self-sufficiency.
Work Environment

The position requires physical capabilities such as bending, crouching, and kneeling, which are essential for various maintenance tasks.

Qualifications
  • Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience is not necessary as training will be provided.
