Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and making recommendations to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and safe store environment, including the grocery department, stockroom, and surrounding areas.
  • Support the sales and merchandising efforts of the grocery department, including receiving and stocking merchandise, rotating stock, and maintaining visual merchandising displays.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and special projects.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and meeting sales and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy in handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
