As a Construction Support Specialist at HOMELIFE CARPENTRY LTD., you will play a vital role in various construction projects. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the transportation and handling of materials, as well as supporting skilled tradespeople in their tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials efficiently.
- Concrete and Asphalt Work: Mix, pour, and spread materials as required.
- Framing and Structural Support: Assist in the framing of houses, erecting walls, and constructing roofs.
- Site Preparation: Level earth to meet fine grade specifications.
- Demolition Assistance: Support in the safe demolition of buildings.
- Site Cleanup: Clean and organize salvaged materials and remove debris from construction sites.
- Contaminant Management: Address chemical spills and other hazardous materials.
This position is physically demanding and involves repetitive tasks. Candidates should be prepared to handle weights of up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and more.
Training and ExperienceNo prior experience is necessary as training will be provided.
