Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Coastal Engineer to join our team at Baird & Associates. As a key member of our coastal engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of coastal projects, working closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver innovative and practical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Development: Lead the development of coastal projects from concept to completion, working closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
  • Design and Engineering: Develop and implement design and engineering solutions for coastal projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering solutions that meet their expectations.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to share knowledge, best practices, and expertise, driving innovation and excellence in coastal engineering.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Ocean, or Coastal Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in coastal or marine engineering, with a strong background in project development and management.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, with expertise in coastal engineering design and analysis. Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Credentials: Professional Engineering License or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Construction Experience: Experience in construction-related to waterfront and coastal projects.
  • Travel: Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as required.
