Position Overview
The Housekeeper will report directly to the Hotel Manager and will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. This position is dynamic and involves various responsibilities, including laundry services, guest interactions, and support for front desk operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks for guest accommodations and shared spaces.
- Execute scheduled deep cleaning activities on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
- Manage laundry processes including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Assist with front desk operations such as handling phone inquiries, managing reservations, processing payments, and welcoming guests.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, assisting with luggage, and ensuring a pleasant stay.
- Effectively prioritize and organize daily tasks to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Maintain clear communication with guests and team members, documenting interactions as necessary.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Has a passion for cleaning and laundry tasks, which constitute a significant portion of the role.
- Enjoys engaging in physical activities, including walking, bending, and lifting (up to 15lbs).
- Demonstrates self-motivation, reliability, and teamwork, with a proactive approach to responsibilities.
- Possesses basic computer skills.
- Is fluent in English.
- Thrives in both independent and collaborative work environments.
- Previous experience in housekeeping is advantageous but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.
Compensation
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $19.00 to $21.00, based on relevant experience.
