The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Analyst to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting our daily banking, cash management, and forecasting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and management of our Treasury Management System (TMS)
- Assist with daily preparation and analysis of cash forecasts
- Administer banking activities for all operating units, including opening bank accounts, setting up and managing users, and KYC requests
- Support the execution of cash management activities, such as wires and transfers
- Develop periodic journal entries for banking activities
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of bank account documentation
- Update treasury policies
- Assist with quarterly internal compliance requirements
- Support various banking projects and initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- Interest in pursuing a professional designation, such as CPA or CFA
- Experience with treasury systems is an asset
