Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Repair Technician to join our team at Wheel Truck and Trailer Repair Inc. As a key member of our repair team, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units, discussing work with supervisors, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Locate faults and malfunctions in mechanical units, including motors and automotive systems.
  • Discuss Work with Supervisor: Collaborate with supervisors to discuss work orders, estimate parts and labor costs, and plan repairs.
  • Provide Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed, future repair requirements, and provide reports to record problems and work completed.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance Service: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on motor vehicles and truck-trailer systems.
  • Test and Adjust Units to Specifications: Ensure that all repairs and maintenance meet industry standards and specifications.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Dusty and noisy work site environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
