About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Greenhouse Labourer to join our team at 10180303 Manitoba Ltd. As a Greenhouse Labourer, you will play a vital role in the growth and maintenance of our greenhouse vegetables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crop Maintenance: Clean the crops, clear and collect brush and debris from fields and other work areas, and divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots.
  • Greenhouse Operations: Perform greenhouse cleaning, mixing fertilizer, and weeding tasks.
  • Plant Care: Spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides, apply fertilizers, and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Clean work area and ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
Work Environment

As a Greenhouse Labourer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks. You will be required to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and wear steel-toed safety boots.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willing to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
