Job Title: Fire Alarm Systems Technician

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Systems Technician to join our team at Sentinel D.E.C. Systems Inc. As a Fire Alarm Systems Technician, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly and meet the required safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test fire alarm systems to identify any defects or malfunctions
  • Install new fire alarm systems and components, including sensors, control panels, and notification appliances
  • Repair and replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power, or specially designed tools
  • Diagnose and locate circuit, component, and equipment faults
  • Test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning
  • Complete work orders, test, and maintenance reports
  • Prepare cost estimates and provide customer service
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Or equivalent experience
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service
