Meat Cutter

BC Ltd. is seeking a skilled Retail Meat Cutter to join our team. As a Retail Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing meat for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and prepare meat for cutting and processing
- Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters into standard cuts of meat
- Remove bones from meat and cut poultry into parts
- Clean and prepare fish and shellfish for sale
- Grind meats and slice cooked meats
- Prepare special orders and shape, lace, and tie roasts and other meats
- Participate in a government or community program that supports newcomers and refugees
- Assist with immediate settlement needs, such as housing and transportation
- Support social and labour market integration through language training and skills development
- Participate in a government or community program that supports youth employment
- Offer on-the-job training and mentorship opportunities
- Participate in a government or community program that supports Veterans
- Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities
- Participate in a government or community program that supports Indigenous people
