Job Summary

3D LASER & FABRICATION INC. is seeking a skilled CAD/CAM Programmer to join our team. As a CAD/CAM Programmer, you will be responsible for developing computer applications for machines and processes, conducting work measurement studies, and collecting and analyzing data and samples.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop computer applications for machines and processes using SolidWorks software and other programming tools.
  • Conduct work measurement studies to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
  • Collect and analyze data and samples to inform design and manufacturing decisions.
  • Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports to support business operations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure accuracy and quality.
Requirements
  • Certification by a provincial or territorial association.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks software and other programming tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software.
  • Knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and file management systems.
  • Ability to use computer numerical control (CNC) machines.
