Merritt Health Centre is seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.
About the RoleAs a Rehabilitation Assistant, you will work closely with our therapy team to develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans. You will assist patients with their daily activities, provide emotional support, and help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities- Assist patients with their daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients
- Help patients with their rehabilitation exercises and activities
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the therapy team
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized rehabilitation plans
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. You will also need to have a valid driver's license.
