We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at Joe Johnson Equipment Edmonton. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in supporting the daily operations of our manufacturing Parts Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload delivery trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Receive, locate, and stock materials in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Track production back-order parts lists and ensure accurate inventory reporting.
  • Assist in daily inventory reporting and cycle counts.
  • Deliver materials to required areas within the production facility.
  • Check materials and supplies and report when stock is low.
  • Report damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement, and record-keeping purposes.
  • Ensure incoming material is received in a timely manner, including entering receipts and investigating packing slip discrepancies.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working area.
  • Provide backup for the Supervisor when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a related Shipping/Receiving position.
  • Valid forklift/counterbalance lift truck ticket.
  • Proficient in Windows and Outlook systems.
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment parts is considered an asset.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Works well independently and is willing to assist others whenever required.
