The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our Water team in Yellowknife. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for coordinating project logistics, setting up and maintaining budgets, and ensuring compliance with client invoicing requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project setup and logistics, including travel and mobilization
  • Assist with development of project and task schedules
  • Set up and maintain budgets and expenditures
  • Interface with the accounting team to ensure compliance with client invoicing requirements
  • Maintain project contracts and documentation for sub-consultants, contractors, and vendors
  • Track quality management processes and plans to ensure compliance
  • Assist with developing and tracking HSSE requirements and associated plans
  • Coordinate project team communications and document client meetings, interactions, and activities
  • Compile regular progress reports for the client, project team, and internal stakeholders
Requirements
  • College diploma or university degree in a related field
  • Basic knowledge of project management principles
  • At least 1 year of experience in related project support in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Experience with scheduling tools (e.g. Primavera or MS Project) is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
  • Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively with other professionals on project development
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
