About the Role:

Ecolab is seeking a skilled Pest Control Specialist to join its industry-leading Pest Elimination team. As a Pest Control Specialist, you will provide timely and cost-effective pest detection, elimination, and prevention solutions to a diverse range of commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish effective working relationships with customers and partner with them to identify and solve pest problems.
  • Stay up-to-date on Ecolab's product and service offerings, as well as industry conditions, to enhance service and sales of pest prevention and elimination solutions.
  • Use handheld computerized equipment to manage service and document structural, sanitation, and pest issues.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of work or military experience.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • Ability to work an overnight shift.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Willingness to be on-call during off-work hours and weekends as necessary.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds (25 kilograms) chest-high.
  • Ability to access and work in various conditions, including confined spaces, damp and dusty locations, freezing conditions, and hot conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Ability to sell value-added products to existing customers.
  • Previous pest elimination industry or route experience.
