Job Title: Cook

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Ricky's All Day Grill. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.

Work Setting:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will work in a team to provide excellent customer service and ensure a clean and safe kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the size of food portions and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements:
  • Safe Food Handling certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
