About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machining Tool Operator to join our team at Archer Precision Inc. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations, ensuring high precision and quality.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Prepare etching solution and immerse metal parts or workpieces into the solution to remove unwanted portions.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Enter codes specifying speed, feed, and cut of the toolpath for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools.
  • Clean and maintain the work space to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to multitask.
  • Reliability and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary personal protective equipment.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with 35 to 40 hours of work per week. Public transportation is available. The work language is English.
