Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Licensed Optician to join our team at LensCrafters in Edmonton, AB. As a Licensed Optician, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, providing expert optical care, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Welcome and engage with customers, setting clear expectations and providing personalized service.
- Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Act as a leader in optical acumen, providing expert advice and guidance to customers and colleagues.
- Take and record measurements, accurately adjust and fit eyewear, and ensure finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
- Assist team members with complex product needs and prescriptions, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Utilize technology effectively, managing time pressure and customer volume while maintaining exceptional product knowledge and tool usage.
- Proactively identify and resolve customer issues, ensuring satisfaction and exceeding expectations.
- Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively, achieving exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies.
- Maintain a clean, attractive, and organized store appearance, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Identify and report safety opportunities, demonstrating safe work practices and a commitment to employee well-being.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- State Licensure.
- Optical dispensing experience.
- Strong customer service skills, including communication, listening, and team building.
- Knowledge of current store merchandise.
- Strong basic math skills.
- Awareness of current fashion trends.
- Selling skills, including the ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet.
- Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators.
- Embracing new technology and change.
- Previous customer service and retail experience.
