Job Summary

As a key member of the Secpwepemc/St'atl'imc/Nlaka'pamux team, the successful candidate for this Janitor/Cleaner position will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a wide range of janitorial tasks, including cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking supplies.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and mops.
  • Assist with waste management and recycling programs.
  • Work collaboratively with the Daycare Administrator to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a janitorial or facilities maintenance role an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
