About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainability Manager to join our team at ATCO. As a key member of our Sustainability and ESG team, you will play a critical role in supporting our organization's commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead or participate in internal cross-functional teams to provide decision-useful analysis, guidance, and recommendations on ESG-related matters.
  • Develop and implement strategies to integrate sustainability and ESG into risk management and strategy processes.
  • Support or lead initiatives to prepare our organization for emerging mandatory financial requirements, such as IFRS ISSB.
  • Oversee ESG external disclosure and communications to effectively and efficiently translate achievements and management of sustainability risks and opportunities to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Minimum of years of related experience in financial reporting or a related field, with strong accounting and financial analysis experience.
  • Experience in financial valuation, forecasting, and investor relations would be considered an asset.
  • Strong business acumen and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
  • Undergraduate degree in commerce or business with a major in accounting, finance, or a related discipline. CFA/CPA professional designation preferred.
  • Knowledge of sustainability standards/guidelines/issues would be an asset, in addition to IFRS.
