About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Gordon Food Service. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload products from trucks and pallets, and move them to designated storage areas.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain accurate inventory records using computerized inventory control systems.
  • Material Handling: Sort, crate, and stack goods, and use basic material handling equipment to move products.
  • Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects, and report any issues to management.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other warehouse staff to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Environment: Cold/refrigerated warehouse environment with moderate noise levels.
  • Work Setting: Warehouse setting with fast-paced environment and repetitive tasks.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs), bend, crouch, and kneel.
  • Personal Qualities: Adaptability, analytical skills, efficiency, goal-oriented, hardworking, positive attitude, quick learner, and team player.
