Teaching Opportunity at Crofton House School

Crofton House School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Associate Teacher to join our vibrant community of educators. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 7.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide TOC coverage from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 7, including specialist areas such as French, Art, PE and Music as appropriate
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers supporting in areas such as curriculum planning, differentiated instruction, and assessment
  • Provide personalized instruction and learning support for individual students
  • Supervise students during non-instructional time
  • Participate in co-curricular activities and clubs each term such as choir, debating, cooking, public speaking, coding, and musical theater
  • Engage in field trips, outdoor education, service projects, leadership development, and athletics
Requirements:
  • B.C. Ministry of Education Certificate or
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills
  • Commitment to teaching the whole child
  • Collaborative, flexible, and enthusiastic
