Field Service Technician: MountainCrest Personnel Inc.
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician with 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in welding, metal fabrication, electrical systems, and hydraulics to become a part of our dedicated team.
This technician will report directly to the Service Manager and will be tasked with independently conducting advanced diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on both customer-owned and company-operated waste and recycling machinery.
Service operations will be performed on-site or remotely utilizing company vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service while operating a company vehicle.
- Assess and communicate maintenance, repair, or service issues directly with clients, ensuring all materials and time are documented through Work Orders.
- Engage in both internal and external training initiatives, adhering to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.
- Maintain the condition of service vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
- Comply with all safety regulations and protocols while executing work tasks.
- Participate in the on-call rotation as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in performing service repairs.
- Comprehensive understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficient in operating vehicles and equipment safely.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory; a forklift certification is advantageous.
- Capability to lift and transport heavy items.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
This is a full-time role.
Compensation starts at $30.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Employee benefits will be available following a probationary period.
