Mirloo Music Ltd is seeking a skilled Musical Educator to join our team. As a Classical Music Specialist, you will be responsible for teaching music theory, history, and performance techniques to students of all ages and skill levels.
Responsibilities- Teach music theory and history to students, including music notation, harmony, and composition.
- Lead music ensembles such as orchestras, choirs, and bands, and conduct rehearsals and performances.
- Provide private lessons in piano, violin, and other instruments, and help students develop their technical skills and musical expression.
- Develop and implement curriculum for music classes, including lesson plans and assessments.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a comprehensive music education program.
- Master's degree in music education or a related field.
- 3+ years of teaching experience in a music education setting.
- Strong knowledge of music theory and history and ability to communicate complex concepts to students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and supportive environment with a team of dedicated music educators. The position requires a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and the ability to travel to performances and events.
