Job Title: Physiotherapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Silverberry Sports And Physiotherapy Clinic Inc.

Job Summary:

The Physiotherapy Assistant will work under the supervision of licensed physiotherapists to provide high-quality patient care and support in our clinic. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer tests and instruct patients on test procedures, recording results and monitoring equipment.
  • Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for patients.
  • Document patient rehabilitation progress, providing accurate and timely updates to healthcare professionals.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring seamless communication with patients and staff.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in physiotherapy or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail, with a strong focus on patient safety and well-being.
