Occupational Therapist II

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist II to join our team at Kitimat General Hospital. As an Occupational Therapist II, you will play a vital role in providing occupational therapy services to our patients, promoting functional independence and enabling them to achieve optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments, using clinical and diagnostic reasoning to develop effective treatment plans.
- Provide occupational therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation, to promote functional independence and enable patients to achieve optimal health outcomes.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients, including consultation, education, and equipment prescription.
- Participate in departmental quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education to contribute to the organization's goals and objectives.
- Provide work direction to rehabilitation assistants and contribute to the development of guidelines and procedures.
- Graduation from a recognized occupational therapy program.
- Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC).
- Practice-specific requirements and experience in programs applicable to the practice area.
- Valid BC Driver's license where required.
