About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Neon Freight Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordination and Planning: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management on key performance indicators and operational metrics.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Staff Management: Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, and establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
  • Supervision: Supervise a team of more than 20 people, including transportation route and crew schedulers.
  • Technology and Systems: Utilize MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Windows to manage and analyze data, and to communicate with stakeholders.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Physical Demands: Lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a variety of settings.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and teamwork.
