Job Summary:We are looking for experienced Registered Nurses (RN) or Registered Practical Nurses (RPN) with a strong background in clinical settings to teach our PSW Foundations program. As an Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our students, providing feedback, and maintaining accurate records of student performance.
Responsibilities:- Establish a good understanding of the PSW Foundations program curriculum and deliver effective education to students.
- Adjust instruction techniques to meet the needs of students and provide relevant feedback regarding performance.
- Keep accurate and complete records of student performance.
- Meet the qualifications and experience requirements as outlined in the Regulations to Private Career Colleges Act, 2005.
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with current registration and no practice restrictions with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Minimum of two (2) years current, relevant work experience in a Canadian clinical environment, preferably in a long-term care/community/chronic care setting.
- Knowledge of the NACC's Personal Support Worker program curriculum is an asset.
- Competitive pay: $23 per hour.
