Position Overview

Tire 21 Limited is seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure accuracy in our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining financial integrity.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of College or CEGEP program in Accounting or related field.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll by calculating and preparing cheques.
  • Assess fixed assets and manage depreciation calculations.
  • Maintain and balance various accounts through both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Oversee general ledgers and prepare financial statements.
  • Post journal entries accurately.
  • Compile statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed.
  • Prepare and file tax returns.
  • Generate trial balances of books.
  • Reconcile discrepancies in accounts.
Work Environment
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to work overtime and handle repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
