Job Title: Lighting Technician

We are seeking a skilled Lighting Technician to join our team at Orange Frog Productions Inc. as a key member of our technical crew.

Job Summary:

The Lighting Technician will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining lighting and electrical equipment for our productions. This includes supervising staff, repairing and maintaining equipment, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and maintain lighting and electrical equipment
  • Supervise staff, including apprentices, stagehands, and design team members
  • Repair and maintain equipment, including lighting systems and electrical infrastructure
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Document work completed and maintain log books
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in lighting and electrical work
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
