About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Pacific Northwest Projects Corp. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure that construction projects are completed to the highest standards.

Prepare and Install Building Components

Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools, and measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Install Windows, Doors, and Hardware

Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure that construction projects are completed to the highest standards.

Ensure Workplace Safety

Ensure that the workplace is safe and that all necessary safety protocols are followed to prevent accidents and injuries.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field is required.

Workplace Information

This is a permanent position, and the work schedule is 40 hours per week.

The primary language of this role is English.
