Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our company, including accounts payable, data entry, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full scope of duties related to accounts payable, including delegating tasks, analyzing accounts payable subledger, and performing monthly accruals.
  • Support the financial management of all projects, including preparation of project reporting and analysis.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end preparation, including bank reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Respond professionally to inquiries from customers, business partners, and other parties.
  • Organize, maintain, and coordinate records and files electronically.
  • Assist in compiling data for various reports, including supporting the Controller and management team.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of accounting experience required.
  • AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred.
  • Spreadsheet and ERP system experience preferred.
  • Accurate, swift, data entry abilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP).
  • Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds.
