Position Overview
The Senior Illumination Artist is responsible for crafting intricate lighting and rendering for animated feature films, emphasizing meticulous attention to detail while thriving in a deadline-oriented environment. Engage in look development, quality assurance, and the creation of custom tools for the lighting department.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in high-end VFX lighting
- Expertise in lighting principles and software
- Strong proficiency in Katana and Nuke
- Familiarity with Maya, Houdini, and Renderman
- Knowledge of Global Illumination, HDRI, and realistic lighting configurations
- Excellent communication and time management skills
Additional Information
- Compensation Range: $50 - $65 per hour
- Onsite position in Vancouver, BC
- Relocation expenses are not covered
- Remote work requires dependable internet and availability during Pacific Standard Time
This position is exclusively for candidates located in British Columbia.
Preference will be given to Permanent Residents and Canadian citizens.
