About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced legal assistant to join our commercial litigation team at Ignite Talent Solutions. As a commercial litigation legal assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our lawyers and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Opening and closing files, and handling all administrative duties such as email and calendar management
  • Coordinating meetings, making travel arrangements, and preparing legal documents and correspondence
  • Ensuring all physical and electronic filing is organized and up to date on a regular basis
  • Delegating tasks to, and coordinating with, other administrative departments

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant legal industry experience in general commercial litigation
  • Exceptional written and communication skills
  • Organized and meticulous with follow-up and details
  • Ability to take initiative, prioritize, and multi-task
  • Advanced understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure
  • Solid computer and typing skills; proficiency in MS Office 2010, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Pro, Worksite DMS, digital dictation
