About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our team at Moods Eatery & Cafe. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook a variety of ethnic dishes, following established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Kitchen Operations: Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies and equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train and develop kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to maintain our high standards of quality and service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
